Hot And Getting Hotter? You May Need A Pool!

It wasn't so long ago that if you had a house to sell with a pool, it could be a negative and reflect in a lower price. Some Buyers who really liked the house and property but did not want the pool would pay to have it filled in.

Buyers that were looking for a house with an inground pool, usually paid the price. That's because installing a pool can be costly. It's amazing how times have changed and so has the price of pools.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has certainly played a big part in this. These days, many families are not traveling—they're staying close to home.
The summers are getting hotter and as a result, more people are investing in a pool. But most pool installers are booked to the end of next year because of such high demand. They can't get the parts.

New types of pools are springing up. A Canadian company out of Abbottsford, B.C. has been converting shipping containers into add-on rooms for offices or granny suites, and industrial units and are now using them for pools! They can easily be shipped to anywhere in the USA or Canada and can be used as an inground or above ground pool. You can even have a window and they claim you can take your pool with you when you move.

I found a site on the internet called Swimply, which is similar to Airbnb that rents residential pools by the hour or by the day for people to use. Home owners that have outgrown their pool may now have another source of income.
Check it out, it's amazing what's happening in our part of the world today!
